Isabelle Laurencin

Isabelle Laurencin is a seasoned investment professional with over 20 years of experience in impact and climate investments. She is currently a Partner at ECBF (European Circular Bioeconomy Fund), where she focuses on investing in transformative companies driving the bioeconomy transition.
Before joining ECBF, Isabelle served as the Global Lead for Climate Tech VC at IFC (World Bank Group), shaping the organization's venture capital strategy in climate. Prior to that, she managed a €70 million venture capital fund at Triodos Investment Management, specializing in the sustainable food transition in Europe.
Isabelle also founded a startup accelerator for sustainable tech innovations in the textile industry for Plug and Play. Earlier in her career, she spent 12 years at Proparco and FMO, leading private equity transactions across multiple geographies.
A French national and graduate of Dauphine University and ESCP Business School, Isabelle has served on numerous boards, advisory boards, and investment committees, bringing her deep expertise in sustainability-focused investments.
